TLDR:
- LOM architecture and design transformed an old building in London into a nature-filled, future-proof workspace for NatWest.
- The office features a flexible design, sustainable elements, and a calming green and neutral color palette.
In response to the shift in modern work due to the pandemic, LOM architecture and design adapted an old building in London into a nature-filled, future-proof workspace for NatWest. The multi-year refurbishment project included a new 300-seat conference center, bank branch, atrium garden and cafe, roof terrace, and co-working hub. The office’s calming green and neutral color palette, along with lush greenery, creates a sense of well-being. The space features flexible functionality, adaptable ‘Flexi Zones,’ and mobile furniture for easy rearrangement. Dawn, day, and dusk color themes are utilized throughout the office, and artwork and artifacts from the bank’s collection are displayed in the meeting rooms. The office also includes a fully equipped conference center and a converted ‘Cycle Shed’ for bike storage.
